Vice Style Editorial

Thank You Snobette for this! "Not very long ago photographer Ellen Von Unwerth complained of the lack of freedom when it comes to fashion photography, in her estimation because of dictation by conservative advertisers. This is not apparently an issue at Vice Style, where the shoot “Fire Walk With Me,” featured all the taboos Unwerth mentioned and then some. The theme of the editorial is your basic lives gone off the tracks. Shot by Jonathan Leder, it’s a nostalgic look at the ’60s, albeit one filled with anguish, a snapshot of a time when getting high and drunk and having same sex relationships was still a no-no and best kept secret. More on the next page." Love love love.
